Senior Living Project gathers about 70 seniors in the Igaraçu do Tietê Center
The Senior Living Project was developed primarily with students in Raízen Foundation’s socio-educational project through practical activities and lectures in the courses of Projects and Community Social Relations – Civil Responsibility Module, where students were prepared to receive the seniors of CRAS (Reference Center for Social Services) and of Igaraçu do Tietê Social Promotion.
The teenagers prepared Raízen Foundation with some previously organized activities to receive approximately 70 seniors over 60.
The activities included:
Bingo – Played in pairs formed by one student and one guest.
Generation Meeting Workshop
Story Time – Students and guests exchanged their life experiences.
This project fits well into the goals of Raízen Foundation for youth personal and professional development, since actions such as this one reinforce the importance of educating individuals who are aware of their role in society.
